Our Story

Rosetown is rich in history and tradition while also being diverse and ever adapting to change. Our strong agricultural roots have led to generations of cooperation with local communities and municipalities that continue to strengthen our community and help us grow.

Our community is well-serviced with high-quality amenities including education, health services, sports and recreation facilities, and safety services. As a cultural and recreational hub, our residents and visitors are active in the community. We offer many parks, an outdoor swimming pool, a well-loved skating and curling arena, and more. Rosetown hosts the long-running Rosebowl Bonspiel and will be hosting the 2018 Allan Cup National Championship. The Rosetown Harvest Family Festival is an annual highlight and homecoming for families and children alike that continues to grow and offer more every year.

Rosetown is a healthcare center in west central Saskatchewan with a new long-term care home Rose Villa, two medical clinics, assisted living accommodations and a fully staffed hospital well-positioned to expand services. Community health and healthcare has always been a strong focus of our community and will continue to be in the future. With over 200 local businesses offering goods and services, the Rosetown community supports our thriving business environment. From our agricultural service providers to our agriculture equipment and automobile dealerships to financial and professional services and numerous retail and restaurant options, there isn’t much you can’t find here.

As our town continues to grow, we hold true to our small-town values of neighbour helping neighbour. We are a welcoming and diverse community that works together towards the common goal of a stronger future. With so much to offer, Rosetown is a hard place to leave, a good place to return to and a great place to put down roots. Discover Life Here!
