South Huron has a strong foundation in all business sectors. There is a thriving agricultural sector and industrial agri-business ventures. There are a variety of commercial farms, cash crops, poultry and specialty products along with agri-tourism ventures which are also prevalent and add value to the agriculture sector in South Huron.
Our agricultural sector is complemented by commercial ventures located in the urban areas of South Huron. In addition to commercial ventures, there is also industrial land readily available throughout the Municipality, most notably is the Huron Industrial Park which offers acres of residential and industrial opportunities.
