The Town of Teulon is strategically located at the intersection of highways 7 and 17, a short 30 minute drive north of Winnipeg, Manitoba’s capital, the Richardson International Airport and Centreport.
Teulon began as a settlement for immigrant farmers. It was incorporated as a village in 1919 and became a Town in 1997. Today, Teulon’s growing population of over 1200 residents enjoys modern services and amenities in a quiet country setting.
With a service area of over 6100 people, agriculture, construction and the transportation industries are some of the key drivers of the Teulon economy. Vidir Machine has expanded to Teulon. They are an international manufacturer specializing in storage carousels, cabinets, bed lifts and other innovative products. Feather Industries will be opening their goose processing facility in 2017 providing up to 60 full time jobs.
