Our Story

Swan Hills is the nearest settlement to the geographical centre of Alberta. It is located at the junction of Highway 32 and the Grizzly Trail. Swan Hills is nestled in a wilderness setting and is known as the “wilderness playground”. It offers numerous outdoor activities including camping, fishing, hunting, hiking, snowmobiling and a wide variety of other outdoor activities and adventures for the whole family.

The Town of Swan Hills offers all the amenities of larger urban centres with the downhome feel of a small town. It has a fully functioning hospital, k-12 school, numerous recreational facilities and businesses which help to ensure a high standard of living for all residents.

The Town offers a multitude of employment opportunities whether it be working in one of the many industries or starting your own local business. All types of growth and development are welcome.
