The Town of Grimshaw’s location at the start of the Mackenzie Highway [Mile Zero] has made the town an important transportation route.The Mackenzie Highway provides a vital supply route to northern communities starting at Grimshaw to its destination at Yellowknife in the Northwest Territories.
The Town also serves as a major service and supply centre for the exploration of oil and gas in the Peace Region.The agriculture and forestry sectors are also well served by Grimshaw’s advantageous location as a transportation hub.
Grimshaw offers a vibrant retail and commercial sector and a multi use recreational facility that offers residents and visitors excellent recreational facilities. The Multiplex is also home to many regional concerts.
